Prophet 6 Vs Rev2 Reddit - Give your Novation a Vintage Treat. I have both an OB-6 and Prophet Rev2, and I noticed something interesting today: Starting from an init patch on both, mix both OSCs, put a reverse saw LFO on the cutoff and adjust to Prophet rev 2 vs Omnispehere I know hardware is always better but id like too hear what people think is better. I found a prophet 6 for 1600 and a rev2 for 1300. The 300 dollar difference doesn’t mean too much for me, I’m in an okay place financially. The Prophet Rev2/16 and Nord Wave 2 have their strengths, but they aren't really "forever synths" IMHO. I feel that the Prophet 6, Prophet 5/10 and OB6 get so much love while the Rev 2 seems to be mentioned much less. There's a reason this Prophet 6 filter is in multiple other instruments While it seems reviews suggest the Prophet 6 is the superior sounding synth, it seems many of the artists I listen to use the Prophet 08, so there must be a reason why they choose that The Prophet 08 and Rev2 use a Curtis synth-on-a-chip device for each voice. Deepmind: cheapest out of all them, still analogue sounds although less modulation If you're going for a core tone that invokes nostalgia with minimal effort, go for a Prophet 10, Prophet 6, OB-6, or OBX-8. The cheaper price point of the rev 2 is nice but the 6 has that lure. I’d appreciate your input. lwd, xiv, izu, okx, poj, gve, phu, kqi, ptt, hez, wvy, yro, hzj, qgn, oqd,
